1 Vara__ it’s week days as per 7 planets commencing from sun to Saturn.in panchang hora means one hour duration thuse 24 hora will be in a day, means 25th hora will be next day starts with a new planet.e,g it starts with Mars then it will be Tuesday.
2 Tithi____appearance of moon as a thin line and gradually increasing to full moon shape on the 15th day and again gradually decreasing and disappearing in the 15th day.full moon is called poornima &new moon is called amavasya tithi.one tithi forms 12 degree distance from the sun thuse in 30 days it completed 12×30=360 degrees (30 tithis).
3__ Nakshtras__ nine planets along with the sub_planets transit in the sky in a restricted are of 8 degrees in the universe.this is called zodiac consisting of 360 degrees which is divided into 27 equal parts & each part is a nakshtra.so total 27 stars or nakshtra with names Ashwani to Revati.
